Hi! We're Kathleen and Samantha, a mother-and-daughter baking team with a passion for creating sweet treats that bring people together.

What started as a fun way to spend time together in the kitchen quickly grew into something more. After experimenting with recipes, sharing our creations with family and friends, and seeing the smiles our treats brought to others, we decided to turn our dream into a small business.

We specialize in handcrafted cakesicles and other delicious baked goods made with quality ingredients, creativity, and plenty of love. Every treat is carefully prepared in our home bakery and designed to make celebrations, special occasions, and everyday moments a little sweeter.

As a family-owned business, we value community, creativity, and building connections with our customers. Whether you find us at a local farmers market, craft fair, community event, or place a custom order, we're grateful for your support and excited to share our passion for baking with you.

Life has a way of taking us down unexpected paths, and mine has been filled with both challenges and blessings. Several years ago, after 25 years of marriage and years spent co-owning and helping run a family business, I found myself facing the opportunity to start over and build something entirely new. While that chapter wasn't what I had planned, it taught me the value of perseverance, resilience, and believing in yourself even when life changes course.

I am a proud mother of three amazing grown children and a grandmother to three beautiful grandchildren who are truly the light of my life. Some of my happiest moments are spent making memories with them, whether that's in the kitchen, celebrating life's milestones, or simply enjoying time together.

Feeding friends and family has always been one of the ways I show love. Baking has been a joy. For as long as I can remember, my daughter Samantha has been right beside me in the kitchen, learning family recipes, experimenting with new ideas, and sharing my passion for creating sweet treats that bring people together. Starting this business with her is more than a dream—it's a chance to build something meaningful together while sharing a little joy with our community.

I am also incredibly grateful to have a supportive partner who encourages me every step of the way. His love and belief in me remind me daily how fortunate I am to be surrounded by people who cheer me on.

This business represents more than cakesicles and baked goods. It represents family, fresh beginnings, hard work, and the belief that it's never too late to pursue something you're passionate about. I feel blessed by the life I've lived, the lessons I've learned, and the people who continue to make every day sweeter.

Hi! Im Samantha and I’m the co-owner of The Flour Garden, I’m also a wife and mom of three! I have two boys and a girl that always keep me on my toes every day!

For as long as I can remember, baking has been such a huge part of my life. Growing up, I would sit at the kitchen counter with my mom, planning menus for every holiday or family celebration. Creating delicious treats together and watching friends and family enjoy them became some of my favorite memories.

Those moments inspired us to turn our shared passion into something more. Together, we made our dream of working side by side a reality and created The Flour Garden.

Today, I feel incredibly lucky to continue baking alongside my mom while sharing that same love of baking with my own children. Being part of our customers’ birthdays, weddings, holidays and special celebrations is truly an honor, and we’re grateful for every opportunity to help make those moments a little sweeter.

  • We offer a range of Cakesicles packages for a small get together to a family reunion. And we also have a self service Cake cart that you can stop by or pre order from!

  • Every dozen Cakesicles start at $45 for classic Cakesicles designs. Depending on additional toppers or designs there will be additional charges. We always want to be transparent about pricing to make sure everyone is on the same page.
